Summer 2019 Consulting Intern

Ascend Indiana’s vision is for every Indiana employer to have access to the skilled workforce necessary to thrive, and for every Indiana citizen to have the opportunity to pursue a meaningful career path. Ascend is a catalyst across industry sectors to connect the supply of skilled talent to demand from employers. An initiative of the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP), Ascend collaborates with corporate, education, philanthropic, and community partners, and is well-positioned to play a leadership role in addressing Central Indiana’s workforce challenges.

The Consulting Intern will support various talent pipeline and strategic planning projects focused on creating career opportunities in partnership with Central Indiana employers and education providers. Projects will include producing project deliverables; researching best practices; conducting landscape analyses on various issues pertaining to talent demand, supply, misalignment, and causes; drafting memos and presentations to share research outcomes; and developing evaluation procedures to track program progress and impact. The Consulting Intern will also help further Ascend’s vision through the development and implementation of resources and models that can be scaled and replicated as the organization grows. Finally, this individual will support the Director of Consulting on high priority projects and research as assigned.

Interested applicants are asked to send a resume, cover letter, writing sample, and employment application to Caitlin Sheesley-Brown (caitlin.brown@ascendindiana.com).
