The Position

We’re looking for a Client Success Manager to foster and maintain strong relationships with employers to achieve partnership objectives and address talent needs through the Ascend Network. The Client Success Manager will:

  • Steward a high volume of employer relationships.
  • Understand partner needs and objectives to connect them to talent.
  • Drive towards aggressive goals to maintain and renew employer partners.
  • Support additional high-priority projects and research.

The Responsibilities

  • Understand employer partner talent needs and develop success plans that enable connections through the Ascend Network.
  • Onboard employer partners to the Ascend Network including profile development and ongoing role posting.
  • Provide excellent and timely client service to employer partners.
  • Communicate employer partner needs clearly and effectively to drive candidate outreach.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen, expand, and renew employer partnerships through data analysis and strategic thinking.
  • Develop systems and processes for securing employer partner feedback.
  • Track all activity in Ascend’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform and regularly communicate progress to Ascend staff and stakeholders.

The Requirements

  • 3.0+ cumulative GPA from either an undergraduate or graduate institution.
  • Organized and outcomes focused - a detail-oriented self-starter who can be given a task, break it down into executable activities, identify questions, set and manage to priorities, and execute effectively.
  • 2-4 years of applicable education, business, non-profit, and/or government experience.
  • Experience in client relationship and account management preferred

The Details

  • Office location: 16 Tech Innovation District with temporary hybrid work, in office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays each week.
  • You will report to Ascend’s Director of Employer Engagement.
  • You can expect to work 40+ hours per week.
  • You can expect to spend approximately 20% of your time traveling across the state for meetings and events.
