Manager of Talent Partnerships

The Manager of Talent Partnerships will be a key leader on the Network team by conducting research to validate expansion strategies for the Ascend Network and determining a strategic path forward for education and talent providers. The Manager of Talent Partnerships will develop models for expanding the Network to job seekers beyond college students and dislocated workers. In addition, the Manager of Talent Partnerships will support the process of building and managing strong education, talent, and multi-tenant partnerships alongside the Director of Talent Programs and Partnerships and our Product team, as we seek to connect talented job seekers to internships and career opportunities across the state. Finally, the Manager of Talent Partnerships will support the Director of Talent Programs and Partnerships and the Vice President of Client Development and Success on high priority initiatives as assigned.

  • You research and validate the target job seeker audiences the Ascend Network should support as the organization scales.
  • You meet with education and talent providers to assess possible expansion strategies for the Ascend Network.
  • You develop models for expanding the Network to job seekers beyond college students and dislocated workers.
  • You work with education and talent providers interested in leveraging a multi-tenant instance of the Network to support candidates.
  • You work alongside the Network Product team to determine how to meet the needs of education and talent providers within our existing product framework while adapting to the needs of the partner organizations.
  • You implement the organization’s multi-tenant partner client success journey to enable partners’ success.
  • You support the development and implementation of training for education and talent providers as they adopt the technology and candidate engagement processes within their organizations.
  • You support the creation of a process for collecting education and talent provider and feedback to inform future partnerships.

  • You implement the organization’s education and talent provider client success journey to enable partners’ success.
  • You build relationships with education and talent provider leadership alongside the Director of Talent Programs and Partnerships, the Vice President of Client Development and Success, and other key stakeholders.
  • You support securing transformational partnership agreements with institutions to allow Ascend to access data about the available talent supply, dramatically increase the efficiency of Network outreach efforts, and enable a deeper focus on key populations.
  • You facilitate the execution of data sharing agreements with education and talent providers to further Ascend’s reach.
  • You manage the relationships with education and talent providers alongside the Director of Talent Programs and Partnerships, communicating regularly to ensure alignment and share partnership outcomes.
  • You work alongside education and talent providers to develop a detailed and actionable campus-wide strategy to identify and engage qualified candidates, alongside the Director of Talent Programs and Partnerships and Talent Recruiters.
  • You develop a process for securing education and talent provider feedback and adjust strategies as needed to ensure success.
  • You provide excellent customer service that retains education and talent provider partners and leads to partnership renewals and contributions.

Data-driven and experienced in supporting the development and implementation of technology infrastructure within Ascend’s CRM.

  • You track and report progress of key metrics from Ascend’s education and talent provider partnerships.
  • You assist in the management of a secure and replicable data sharing transfer process upon executing a data sharing agreement in alignment with CICP and Ascend’s data and information security policies.
  • You manage the data sharing agreement data import process ensuring that data is organized, cleaned, and aligned with Microsoft Dynamics to enable a smooth transfer from spreadsheets to CRM.
  • You analyze all student data to identify bottlenecks, including the import of student data shared by education and talent providers, and leverage this data to inform future partner and candidate recruitment strategies.

Requirements

  • 3.0+ cumulative GPA from either an undergraduate or graduate institution.
  • 2-3 years of experience in business development and/or account management in education, business, non-profit, and / or government.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in leading projects and achieving ambitious, quantifiable outcomes.
  • A detail-oriented self-starter who can be given a need or objective, break it down into executable activities, identify questions that need to be asked, gather priorities and requirements, set and manage to milestones, and then execute effectively.
  • Ability to learn new technology tools and processes quickly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite preferred.
  • Track record of successfully working collaboratively within a team.
  • Demonstrate ethical handling of confidential information.
