Employability Skills and Hiring the Right Talent

Overview

Ascend and FutureWorks’ 2017 Employability Skills Report investigates the use of employability skills in Indiana employers’ hiring processes. While employers first typically consider these skills broadly, final hiring decisions are based on a candidate’s employability skills in relation to job profiles and work culture. This report details some of the methods employers use to identify and assess relevant skills.
